Prayer Over the City

We moved to Ambato, Ecuador on April 1st, 2013.  After several months of language school and training, we finally arrived.  Everyone was super excited to get started.  We moved into some very small apartments and hit the ground running.  For the first three days (April 8-10), we had prayer over the city in three different places.  The first place was a basketball court that ended up being a strategic location for our ministry.  The second place was a park overlooking the city.  As we looked over the thousands of houses below, we prayed God’s presence and love over Ambato.  The third place was another basketball court in a neighborhood close to our apartments.  The times of prayer were super impactful for all of us as we prayed together over the universities, elementary schools, churches, businesses, marriages, single mothers, and children of Ambato.  We rebuked the devil and his work and claimed victory over the city.
